AIR DUCT CLEANING
In the process, we first connect a negative pressure machine to the main duct, then seal all the other vents to maximize the suction. We then access each vent individually to complete the cleaning. A disinfection process will then take place to make sure all airborne contaminants are eliminated from your ducts.
Air Duct Cleaning
Health benefits - Did you know that over 40 lbs. of dust can be collected inside your air ducts over one year? This becomes a major source of indoor pollution and seriously affects the quality of the air you breathe.
Dust and other air borne contaminants are sucked into your air duct system where they build up and become an ideal breeding ground for mold fungus, spores bacteria, mildew and other germs. Every time the system is turned on, impurities are blown out and circulated throughout the home or office. This affects the health, safety and comfort of your family. Children, the elderly and those who suffer from allergies, asthma and other respiratory ailments are especially vulnerable to this danger.
Energy savings - The EPA (United States Environmental Protection Agency) estimates that less than a half inch of dust build up on a heating coil can reduce the overall efficiency of your system by 20% or more. Research suggest that regular air duct cleaning, cleaning dirty cooling coils, fans and heat exchangers can improve the efficiency of cooling and heating systems and lower the energy costs you pay to keep your family cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
•50% of all illnesses are either caused or aggravated by polluted indoor air (American College of Allergists).
•One out of six people who suffer from allergies do so as a direct result of the fungi and bacteria in air duct systems (Total Health and Better Magazines).
•EPA research suggests that cleaning dirty cooling coils, fans and heat exchangers can improve the efficiency of cooling and heating systems and lower the energy costs you pay to keep your family cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
•An American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) study concluded that maintaining HVAC system cleanliness in homes would reduce average operating costs by 10% to 25%
